  • no wifi setup option

    This update does not have a wifi setup option. You can not connect to the internet. You get stuck. Do not update it.
  • For a single wired camera it works, don't add wireless

    I have had one indoor guardzilla camera in place for a couple years, never a problem. I've attempted twice now to add in a outdoor wireless guardzilla, and the reliability goes down the tubes. More often than not BOTH cameras end up offline, or my original camera can't be reached through the app. I've tried IP reservation as that was the only recommendation I was given, it didn't help a bit. I really loved my old guardzilla, but I need to expand and the lack of reliability is a sticking point. The lack of service doesn't help either. I'd say look elsewhere.

    I really like everything about this, but there are too many issues with connections outside of my house. Does nor connect half the time.
  • Not informed enough before purchasing

    It took to long to installed. But after installing Got it working a message came up about purchasing a monitoring fee which was never talked about on air while people was demonstrating the product. They said was plug in and watch. For the price why should I have to buy a service well it’s because it will not do 24 hour back plays only watch live. Instead of buying this I should have done regular alarm company since I have to pay extra for service. False advertising.. The photos are clear when it stays on. Lots of disconnection...
  • Make the recordings available right way

    When I get a motion detection notification on my phone, I'll go to check it, and the recording isn't there. I have to wait a while before the recording will be available to view. Please fix this, and make it immediately available!
  • Constantly freezes

    The live video streaming constantly freezes. I have it set right next to my WiFi router and the signal connection is excellent. I’m also using a full WiFi signal on my phone. But for whatever reason it still freezes all the time

    The potential here is fairly obvious. However, in the entire time i have owned my camera I think I have seen 1 or 2 updates to the app that is in desperate need of some modernization. Frustrating isn’t the word. Please see how “Ring” did there app and copy that. It may not be perfect, but it smokes everything about the Guardzilla app.
  • Disappointed and poor customer service

    I’m very disappointed. I purchased my device and set it up. It did pretty well for $100 purchase. I also paid for the app as well to monitor. It lasted three weeks and stopped functioning properly on the lithium batteries. I called to have it replaced or fixed and because I lost the receipt they won’t do anything. It their device I had to download the app to have it work. Would that not be enough. Heavens I had a Fitbit band break three times and had it replaced. Also the sound and infra Red was also not too good. I never heard sound and IR was only close up.

    By Tiny bubbles6 savvy I'm not, but this is so easy to use, no extraneous ads, tutorials, distractions. I got 2 of the devices from HSN and love being able to move them anywhere and see whats going on either live feed or looking back in event history. Works really well. Recommend. Update: I don’t know if my cameras have come to the end of their lifespan but they are no longer reliable. Freezes, crashes, inaccuracies and recent inability to reach the support team via chat make me less that enthusiastic to recommend. Looking into alternatives. Hope things turn around.
