  • Great Budgeting App

    By soccer_crimson
EveryDollar makes budgeting rather simple. It can be a bit of a headache when you don’t get paid monthly, but we just have to split up all our expenses between our two paychecks to make it work. My main reason for three stars is lack of iPad support. I can use my iPad for just about everything, except this app. I pull it up on Safari, but it doesn’t work as smooth as on desktop or the phone app.
  • Not enough options.

    By Peacepuppie
I’m paid every two weeks but there’s no budget option for that.
  • Rip-off paid version duplicates transactions

    By MedicB
I was using the paid version and had duplicate downloaded transactions occur two separate times. Both times I spent hours deleting duplicates by hand with no assistance offered by their IT. When I requested a refund for the unused months of my prepaid year, they refused. Stay away from this buggy app!
  • Amazing!!

I am really impressed with the Free version of this app. It is highly customizable and covers everything I need. I personally like entering in each expense manually since I'm a newb at budgeting and I really need to be cognizant of every penny. Once I make progress (and have that extra cash in my pocket) the Pro version would be well worth it, I'm sure. Highly recommended.
  • Best Budget Tool

SUPER simple. I love it. This is great for almost anyone’s personal finance.
  • Great App for Starters

I was never someone who was good at budgeting and all I could remember was long complicated spreadsheets that would require long periods of time typing up everything. I started using this app in December but I stopped because I decided to start my budgeting goal for the new year. I then used the time to fill in my data, debts, savings etc so I was ready to just log my spendings. It allowed me to set up reminders at the end of the day that lets me know I should log all my spending and to see where I went over budget and allows me to figure out how I should get back on track. I find it simple, kinda fun and great for beginners like me. I tried the other main stream ones but this just feels a lot better.
  • Plus is too expensive and lags behind on updating

    By kckwalsh
$10/month is a pretty high price for linking to your bank account. Other apps do that for free. It also takes a few days to update your transactions, and some accounts say error connecting every time which is even more annoying since that is exactly what you are paying for! I like the actual budgeting software part(free) but I’m not sure how much I will continue to use it if I have to go on my computer and input each transaction. Improve the time and reliability of the transaction updates, as well as lower the price to maybe 1/3 of what you are currently charging and I will happily resubscribe to plus.
  • Decent apps terrible support

    By Joey c 21 b
I really enjoyed the app however the promise of customer support with a real life person hasn’t come through. I have made multiple requests for someone to contact me with support and never got a return call.
  • App is good overall, but the Plus version is slow to update

    By Willthomkat
The app is awesome for helping keep our household budget up-to-date. I love how I can see expenditures my wife made, and vice-versa. We use the Plus version, which is convenient because it syncs with the bank account. We do wish that it would sync faster than it does, though: we will refresh the transactions, and it will show nothing; we’ll check again a few hours later, and there will be a bunch of transactions to sort. Love the app overall!
  • Free spirit but won’t let me budget

    By Big Guns329
I am the free spirit type, I would love to have the everydollar as someone that is into Dave Ramsey and wants to see my trend over past three months. However as someone that is paid hourly or easier for my brain to look at how much money I have in that envelope using a weekly budget system then monthly. Seeing as how I am paid every Friday literally. I feel when doing monthly I have more in there than what I already have and while some bills like utilities and rent I can pay weekly others like Netflix are so low that to pay that area is ridiculous because we aren’t allowed to do a bi weekly or weekly budget. Other than a couple variances like clothes needed for work or a emergency repair my spending is the same but my biggest issue with Dave requiring monthly has always been the tracking is not the same. I may have $400 in grocery according to the app but really only have $100 that extra $300 can get confusing when grocery shopping and simple is easier when budgeting
