  • Would love to review if it even worked??

    By mc4man
So I have a fairly large library - 4522 titles. Was looking for something other than iTunes for when I wanted to print my list and perhaps have greater control over how that output looked. Came across this program and thought it might do the trick. While it begins the process correctly (albeit pretty painfully slowly), it ultimately gets held up and causes the process to freeze at just over 3000 movies. Tried this a couple of times at same result. So, like I said, would love to review this program but I would need it to actually work in order to do that. Oh, wait, I guess that is my review… UPDATE: DEVELOPER REACHED OUT AND I SENT EMAIL WITH SCREENSHOTS. WILL COME BACK AND REVISE THE REVIEW IF/WHEN THEY RESPOND WITH A FIX
  • Easy to add movies

    By rjdeible
Very fast and reliable at adding movies. I will probably have to buy the pro version becuase I have a lot of movies but the free one should let me know if it’s gonna work good. Right now I have twelve movies in and it is searching good and it’s a breeze to put new movies in. I am really happy that it works on windows and mac
  • Sourcing data from Amazon - pulls in junk.

    By timothevs
My biggest gripe is that the app sources its information from Amazon. The descriptions of the movies on Amazon are more often than not just paens of praise for the director. Why would I want that junk to be part of the movie metadata? A classic example is The Martian. The description pulled by this app - "“Matt Damon in his best performance ever" leads a stellar cast in this breathtaking sci-fi adventure from legendary director Ridley Scott (Alien, Prometheus) based on the #1 New York Times best-selling novel” Tells me nothing about the plot at all. Sure if all you want is an app to list your movies with the cover art, this may be the app for you. But a spreadsheet would do the same and better perhaps.

  • Uhh...

Well, I decided to give this a try because I really like the mobile version but first of all, the app is way too expensive. $20? You’re organizing my movies, not washing my windows. Also, with this version at least, the Facebook login doesn’t work because the window for it is too small and Facebook won’t let me go anywhere with it. Mucho disappointing.
  • Good, but too expensive

    By weeblewobble08
I use the iPhone app version of this. It’s great and helps me keep track of everything. I want to get the program on my computer and come to find out its $20. This is on top of the $5 that I paid for the iPhone app. To get it on all my devices (iPad as well) I would spend $30. Nice software…rediculous price. Lower the price to something reasonable, I’ll be the first in line for the Pro version.
  • Wanted to like it, doesn

    By WMC_User
I use My Movies as a WMC plugin all the time, my whole family does in fact. Really wanted to like the Mac version, unable to. Loaded all films, wouldn't play any of them, then began crashing and refusing to open altogether. very much a Beta version.
  • Better than most other option.

This application does exactly what I need it to. Mac, iPhone, iPad and Web sharing support is exactly what I was looking for. The only other viable option currently is Delicious Library. Since this is slightly cheaper, it makes it worth the price. I haven't had any crashing or lag issues or even issues importing my libraries from xml or csv, heck even delicious library 2 files import just fine! I'm on a 2011 MacBook Pro with the latest version of Mountain Lion and this app works perfectly. I'll definitely be buying the full version.
  • Great on the PC… broken on my Mac.

    By seefilms gmail
I downloaded this to give it a try. I use it on the PC and it works great. I downloaded it, opened it and then started to import movies from my server. Crash. So I reopened it and tried again. Crash. It did import one folder that had three titles in it, but it refuses to import my main movie folder. I don't understand. One star until its fixed or I'm shown the error of my ways.
  • Does what I wanted it to do

It does what I expected it to do and I have both the iPhone and Mac version. I would like for them to add the option to put the movies that I have in Digital Download format as well.
