  • ESPN App has gone to pot

    By FBFan2.0
I have to say before this upgrade to their app, I enjoyed being about to watch 30 for 30 specials or replays of game that I might have missed or seen but would like to view again. Now, you have to pay in order to watch a past game or event, as well as a 30 for 30. REALLY ESPN!! What gives, I pay enough for cable and internet, sense when did you guys want to basically be pay per view. If that is the case, unless this changes, I’m going to dump this app, screw paying for something I’m already paying for through cable/internet. This just pure greed!
  • NCAA Baseball

    By Umrebel3092
There is no way to select a favorite team for NCAA Baseball. So, in order to check scores you have to go to the Sports tab, scroll through find NCAA Men’s Baseball and finally scroll through 100 different games to find the specific game you’re looking for. There should be an option to select a team as favorite like every other sport so the score would be on the home screen and also receive notifications on the team.
  • Slow

Game scoring updates are waaaaaaay behind. Been like this for awhile so obviously no adjustments are being made. Why I use bleacher report for all my UP TO MINUTE scores and updates. For ESPN this is disappointing. Supposed to be the number one go to for sports but you can’t even keep up. It’s a shame.
  • Not good!

I don’t like the new format/ layout of the ESPN app!
  • ESPN Content

Not enough written content anymore. Just a bunch of clips from that day’s shows. ESPN is a shell of its former self,,,,both the network and website.

Trouble bringing up the ‘News’ on the app
  • Recent update makes app worse

    By frogworks1
I’ve been a user of the ESPN app for a long time. The original layout and UI were great in my opinion. The new update however makes the layout and UI worse. Couple that with clicking on different news links within the app only to be presented with a blank white screen or blank black screen. Not all screens are blank as you can scroll one up or below and the news story is there. I understand that everything must change and improve. I credit the ESPN team for making changes. But, it might be changes that actually improve the user experience and not the other way around. Side note: I was connected to my home WiFi which has fantastic speeds and connection. So I wasn’t seeing a blank screen because of using cellular data by itself.
  • Update 4-26-2018

Good app, nice news and sports and such. Seems like a push to their ESPN+ platform but I suppose it’s a business and not sports coverage by UNICEF. It would be a five star app if you could default to the “Scores” tab instead of the main news/content feed that you’re routed to initially. I find less value there- I just want scores though.
  • The Update?

    By Location Required....Really?
I absolutely hate you REQUIRE my location now for me to watch live content or watch previously recorded things such as Golic and Wingo or First Take. I don’t share my location with anything and refuse to share it just to watch something totally not dependent on where I am to watch it. Ridiculous and I outside of score updates I don’t use this app any longer.
